Roll Train Inc. is a 501(c)(3) corporation devoted to the art of Black culture roller skating. Our mission is to teach, preserve, and grow this unique style of skating which has been uniting communities for over 75 years. We skate in a group and anyone can join. One beat plays and hundreds of hearts join together in focus, creativity, self-expression, joy, and love. Your physical and mental health will thank you, and this community will hold you because Sk8 Fam is forever. Join us, or donate to a cause rooted in health equity that has the power to heal individuals and our city. Get fit, have fun, and learn to dance on roller skates! Roller skating is much, much, more than skating around in a circle. Let us show you - life changes when you roll. Period.
***We teach the ADULT DANCE SKATING component of Black culture roller skating. If you are looking for children’s skating classes, please contact any of our local rinks, including Butler/Ozaukee/Waukesha Skateland, or Incredi-roll***
WE RENT SKATES AND WE SELL SKATES!
When you sign up for class, you’ll fill out a form that lets us know if you need rentals for class (included in class prices)
WHEN YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT BUYING SKATES:
Shop local and buy from people who are skaters themselves! We are happy to answer your questions, make sense of the options out there, and/or order skates or components from all the major skate manufacturers. SKATES ARE AN INVESTMENT AND ROLL TRAIN IS BY SKATERS, FOR SKATERS!
